Hot meals, your choice of soda, and supplies for our neighbors who need them — one Sunday a month, right next to Houston City Hall.
Robin Hood Project started in 2018 with a simple idea: show up, hand out a hot meal and a cold drink, and treat folks like they matter. Once a month — sometimes more, depending on what we've got — we set up right next to Houston City Hall and serve hot meals, your choice of soda, and whatever supplies or clothing we've gathered that week.
When resources allow, we'll roll to more than one spot in a day. There's no schedule beyond "when it works for everyone," there's no catch, and there's no questions asked. Just food, a few small comforts, and people looking out for each other.
It's not complicated — it's just consistent. Here's what we hand out, every Sunday we go.
Real food, cooked with care, handed out with no questions asked. Big portions, no judgment.
Because getting to pick your own drink is a small thing that matters more than you'd think.
Whatever we've gathered that week — clothes, hygiene items, blankets, things people actually need.
Every Sunday we do this, it's because someone showed up, dropped something off, or chipped in a few bucks. Here's how you can.
Come help us set up, hand out meals, sort clothing, or break down at the end. No experience needed — just show up ready to work.
Hot-meal ingredients, sodas, bottled water, clothing, hygiene items, blankets — if it's useful, we'll get it to someone who needs it.
Every dollar buys meals, drinks, and supplies. A little goes a long way when we shop in bulk — $5 feeds someone.
